Alejandra Melo-Pale was born in Mexico City into a family of traders across multiple industries, including automotive parts. She began working at just 12 years old and quickly earned recognition for her exceptional performance in a field that was predominantly male-dominated.

At 23, Alejandra launched her own auto parts business with her father’s guidance and simultaneously ventured into the restaurant industry with a traditional Mexican restaurant. Growing up in a family that successfully operated a highly regarded business for over 40 years, she gained invaluable business insight that helped her establish three additional enterprises in recycling, cleaning products, and restaurants.

Influenced by her father and supported by her family, Alejandra emigrated to the United States in 2015 to start a new chapter. Today, she is the owner of R&M Cleaning Service, a company specializing in construction site cleaning for homes, commercial buildings, and businesses. In 2022, she expanded her ventures by launching a company offering a wide range of construction services. Alejandra also actively supports altruistic projects, carrying forward the family tradition of giving back.

Frida Ramos stepped into leadership at R&M Cleaning Services during the pandemic, deferring her university studies to manage the business when her mother, founder and owner Alejandra Melo-Pale, was hospitalized due to COVID complications. “I really enjoy entrepreneurship; I handle many areas of the business, but it’s in sales where I thrive,” she says.

Balancing family responsibilities with the demands of the business, Frida quickly became a key knowledge resource in both the cleaning and construction industries. She has continued her professional development through courses, workshops, and summits, and plans to further her academic education in the near future.

Frida is also deeply committed to giving back to the community. She volunteers with Amhiga Hispana, leading business workshops and serving as a panelist at business expos to support Latinx entrepreneurs. She has been featured alongside her mother in Mujeres Couture Magazine, sharing insights into RM Cleaning Services and their journey as a family-owned, women-led business.
